Meet Our Designer

Winnie graduated from Danforth Technical School in fashion designing/drafting, tailoring and modeling in 1967. While at Danforth she had taken extra design/drafting courses at Ryerson. In Toronto and Vancouver, Fredericton, she had work in many fields of design. In Toronto she did uniforms for different night clubs, in Vancouver she set up a boutique and was the designer, tailor, and would do the buying for the boutique. In Fredericton, she designed and made costumes for Shakespeare plays - she also designed one of a kind wedding dresses for which normally I would do the whole wedding party.  While in Fredericton she taught private lessons in sewing.

Though she has held various positions, in recent years, Winnie decided to start her own business making pet clothing & accessories - combining her love of animals with her love of Fashion Design.

Meet our "Models"

	Bernie - Bernie is the head of the house known as the King. We adopted Bernie about 8 years ago from SPCA. Bernie couldn't care less about any dogs that come to play or to stay a night or so, the dogs seem to know their place when it comes to Bernie. Most dogs know that Bernie has first choice of beds and they don't disturb him. That's our Bernie - the ruler of the house.
	Clyde - Clyde is a pug we adopted Clyde from a Pug adoption group in January 2004 so he is the newest addition to the family. When Clyde first came to live with us he was very quiet but he has discovered that now he is at home so he argues with his sister Lacey especially about who is going to lye beside Dad or who should be on the bed he is trying to learn how to share. Clyde doesn't like wearing a seat belt when in the car or van he thinks he should be a macho man and be allowed to have his head out the window. Clyde is beginning to visit with other dogs now and is in the training of modeling. Clydes favourite thing is to find a knee or couch where he can just curl up and sleep he will waken to get treats. But Clyde is a true couch potato.
	Lacey - Lacey is my pride and joy. We adopted Lacey when she was 1 yr old from the Huntsville animal shelter we have had Lacey four years . Lacey was very hard to calm, and a great escape artist when we first got her now she is very gentle, loving young lady. Since I started the business Lacey has been walking dogs with me, socializing other dogs, cares for dogs we have staying with us eg. if someone has to go pee during the night she will come and waken me to let them out. Lacey is also my top model although at times like all other females she has a mind of her own. You will often see Lacey sitting outside MacDonald with me on a Friday after a hard week at work eating an ice cream cone or sundae -that is her pay for the week. Needless to say Lacey likes Fridays.
